Who are the target users for Active

I have created a Google Sitemap
using Active WebTraffic. How do I tell Google
about it?
It's easy. Upload the Google sitemap file you have
created to your web site. Then just create a
Google Sitemaps account directly with Google by
clicking
here. From your Google account you are able to
indicate the location of your sitemap file and access
all Google statistics including your site's indexing
data and query information.
Does your software
really submit to over 1 million engines?
Yes!! The Platinum and Enterprise Editions do. No other software on the net even comes close.
You get all the tools not only to promote your site to the top of the most popular search
engines worldwide but to
help you increase your link popularity
(number of web pages that link to your site) by submitting to tons
of smaller directories and link pages. You can configure the Submitter module
to send to any of your pre-selected countries, regions or even
independent search engines for each project/domain.
You can also evaluate your site's link popularity any time with the Linkage tool.
Why I can not submit to the entire
database?
The four versions Standard, Professional, Platinum and
Enterprise contain exactly the same
search engine database and number of Internet resources.
The Professional version
submits to 200.000 resources each time. When selecting the search engines be sure the counter does not exceed 200.000. You can submit
to all resources but in different times. Submit first to search engines and directories, FFAs and classifieds. Secondly submit to Networks, selecting
different groups of Networks until you reach 200.000
The Standard version only submits to 10.000 resources each time.
Can I set up my
domains once and have the program submit them without my
intervention?
Absolutely! The Professional, Platinum and Enterprise
editions have a built-in Scheduler module which allows
you to enter any number of projects to submit and at
what intervals (daily, weekly, monthly or any other).
Once you have setup the Scheduler your domains
submissions are on auto pilot.
Can
I install the software on more than one computer?
No,
the software license agreement is for one single user and one
single computer only. If you wish to install it on more than one
computer you should buy additional licenses. The registration
key is unique for your
single user license
and
if the software is installed on more than one computer it will be
automatically disabled. If your registration key has become
unusable or is not working please contact our
support team.
How do I
activate the trial version to the full version?

section for a step by step explanation on how to activate the
full edition that you purchased.
How do I get free
updates?
All software updates, maintenance releases and support are free for the
life time of the product. These updates
include new search engine database updates as well
as any fixes and software updates available to the program.
To
update the search engine database just click on the Update button
from the program's Updater module. To update the software just
click on the Update Program
button.
Do you charge any maintenance fees?
While some other web promotion programs charge you annually for
software "maintenance", Myrasoft will never ask you to pay annual
maintenance fees for any of its software products. All product
revisions and database updates such as
1.1 to 1.2 etc. are
completely free. Only when a new major product version
with enhanced features is released such as 1.x to 2.x
Myrasoft will offer its current users the choice to
upgrade to the new version and for a very special and
reduced upgrade price. This makes a huge difference when
you buy software and compare costs from different
software vendors. When buying from Myrasoft you can
rest assured that you will not have to repurchase the
same software
every single year! What's more, your initial investment is protected
when you decide to access the new functionality and
features of a superior version.
Will I receive a lot of confirmation emails once my site is submitted?
Yes,
your web site is submitted to the search engines as if you were
doing it manually so you will be getting all the confirmation
emails. The software provides and alternative email field
that we strongly recommend you to use to avoid these confirmation
messages interfering with your regular email address. On the
program's Project Info Screen there is a field called Junk Email;
just enter an alternative email address like
promotion@mydomain.com where you want all these confirmation
messages to be received.
How and when should I submit my url?
We recommend to submit only your main domain page to
the major search engines and if you have different
sections on your web site you may also want to submit
the main page for each section to the directories.
Note that major search engines will index your main page
and, by following the links found, they will index
the rest of your web pages automatically. There is
therefore no need to submit all your web pages to the
major search engines. Active WebTraffic Search Engine
Spider module crawls your url and shows what the
search engine spider program sees when it reads your web
pages and detects possible broken links or errors.
Directories usually only accept one page per section for the same
domain. You can submit 2 or 3 of your most relevant pages
to directories under different categories.
In no case you should submit thousands of pages from the
same domain. As noted above search engines will get them
automatically from your main page and directories will
welcome no more than one page per section of your site.
There is no advantage in submitting thousands of pages
from the same domain and most likely your site will be
rejected if you do so. Therefore it is highly
recommended that you keep your submissions short and
simple.
Note that you can also set up a Schedule for a
particular project or domain and place its web promotion
on auto pilot by using the program's Scheduler module.
As a general rule you should be submitting to search
engines on a monthly basis and to link pages and
directories on a weekly
basis.
I am a registered
user of your previous version 7.x. How can I update to
the latest version?
Just purchase a software upgrade from version 7.x to version 8
using the special pricing for current users and you will be
upgraded to the last version for a very small cost. If you are a 7.x (or later) user

Why are some
search engines submissions failing?
Submissions fail for a number of reasons, but the main reason is
due to the Internet traffic and how busy the engines server is at
the time you are submitting your pages. The other major reason is
because engines tend to switch how they accept information on a
regular basis. The software includes free and unlimited database updates
and it is likely that if there has been any change on any
particular search engine it has already been or is in the process
of being updated. So remember to update your search engine database frequently
by clicking on the
Update button.
I submitted
successfully last week but my site is not appearing yet on the major search engines.
Please note that each
search engine is responsible for the inclusion of your site. While link pages and
classifieds just take a few days to include your site,
some major search engines and
directories may take up to one or two months to register
your site, depending on the number of submissions they have pending. This is not due to Active WebTraffic
performance which actually sends your registration request immediately but rather depends
on the search engine effectiveness for executing pending add url requests.
As an example Open Directory handles all submissions manually and
will typically list your site after two months, while Google robot,
Googlebot will spider new submitted sites monthly or bimonthly. Use
Active WebTraffic Search and Ranking tools
to find out if your site is listed and where.
It is also
important if you want to be correctly indexed on the major search engines that you have at
least the correct Title, Description and Keywords meta tags on your web pages. You can do
this automatically with
Active
WebTraffic
Meta Tag Generator module.
Do not post too frequently and do not send more than one or two web
pages of your domain per submission to the major search engines,
also note that using an invalid email address on these search engines can prevent you from being listed at
all. Keep it fair, short and simple and you will get listed.
My registration key will not unlock the program.
Your
registration key is unique for your
license
and should correctly
unlock the program. If Active WebTraffic detects the same user license running by
different users it may disable your registration key. Contact our
support team.
Do you ship the program
on disk?
No, everything is handled
electronically. Our program is updated frequently to keep pace with the ever changing
search engines. If we put a copy on disk, it would be outdated almost immediately. Anytime
you download a copy of Active WebTraffic
and
enter your
exclusive user license registration code, you will have a full version. So, as long as you keep a copy of the code, you will never
have to worry about "losing" the program.
I tried to run the downloaded exe
file, but my computer says it is not a valid file or the installation does not complete.
You probably got cutoff before the download
completed. Check that the file size is the same as indicated on our download
page. If it
is smaller, you need to try downloading it again and make sure it completes. We've got
hundreds downloading it successfully daily so it *should* work. Active WebTraffic is WELL
worth the effort and it's the kind product that pays for itself very quickly.
