Easy to Install and Use
Active Search Engine was designed to be up and running immediately after setup and can be installed on your server or hosting account in just minutes. Active Search Engine full version comes with a step by step installation program that will install all application files on your computer for easy access. You can then upload them to your web server by using your favorite FTP software such as windows itself, WS-FTP, FrontPage or any other. Before installing Active Search Engine you need a Windows based hosting account where to upload Active Search Engine application files. Since Active Search Engine is an ASP web server application any windows server hosting account supporting asp will work fine. Note that Active Search Engine requirements are very basic and most hosting providers should have the required components already installed. Please review the following system requirements for your web server hosting account:

: System: Windows Web Server or Windows hosting account (recommended OS: Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server capable of running Microsoft IIS 4.0 or better).

: Database: Microsoft Data Access (ADO) 2.5 component or better and *(For the SQL version only): Microsoft SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 or better.

: Email Component: Needed to send emails and newsletters. Choose between any one of Microsoft CDO  (included with all Windows servers), ASPEmail, ASPMail, ASPQMail, JMail or SmartMail (only one component needed)

: HTTP component: FOptional Needed to check broken links and non existent url addresses. Choose between any one of Microsoft XMLHTTP (included with all Windows servers), Microsoft Server XMLHTTP, AspHTTP or IP*Works! HTTP.

: Email MX component: FOptional Needed to check invalid emails. Choose between any one of Microsoft Nslookup (included with all Windows servers), AspMX or IP*Works MX.

Checking if your web server or hosting account is fully compatible with Active Search Engine is as easy as downloading the demo version. It includes a free Myrasoft web utility called <ASEDiag which when uploaded to your web server checks the modules that your ISP has installed on your server and determines if it is ready to run Active Search Engine or if some basic component needs to be previously installed:

Installation Service available
Active Search Engine is easy to install and you can have it up and running in your server in just a few minutes. However if you want us to do the installation work for you, Myrasoft offers an installation service as well. Just be sure to select the installation item when ordering Active Search Engine. You will need to provide us with your web server account login username and password so that we can install the software (you can always change the password as soon as we are done with the setup process).
